Wow. Things have been eerily quiet around here for quite a while. I hope to correct that soon. The “baby” is rapidly approaching 2-years-old. Maybe I should tell you what she’s been up to. And me, too.

What is this place?

The Callipygian Chronicle is a personal blog of Yolanda. This blog was initially started in 2006 to chronicle my pregnancy for the friends and loved ones I didn't see regularly.

It unexpectedly became a space where I worked through my recovery from postpartum hysterectomy.

It's now a space where I write about my life, creating and documenting that life through photography, and any other thing that occurs to me.
